First you find the speakeasy then you go into the basement. The Music Room lies on the very end of Edgewood past Noni’s on the west side…It’s there you will find up and coming local talent performing live or world renowned DJ’s spinning some of the best house sets you will hear in Atlanta, GA. It’s a laid back casual environment with no cover ranging up to $10.

This venue has a great sound system, clean bathrooms, strong drinks and a cozy stage. I have wondered into to The Music Room on many a nights and stumbled upon awesome live music from musicians previously unknown to me. Musicians like Stereo Reform, Tommy Genesis and Nigel Perkins.

Vinyl lovers will enjoy the collection of records preserved in the bar and on display. Classics such as Micheal Jackson, Depeche Mode, KLF and more. This cozy venue lacks douche bros and the like and gives way to a more discerning crowd with a broad taste for really good music. A great sound system with the rich acoustics treats the ears well. One of the most chill and eclectic venues on Edgewood Avenue.

One can expect a mature crowd, good service and the absolute best house music in the southeast.
